 Hi my loves!

We’ve arrived at “The South American Athens” Bogota, Colombia on Friday night. It was raining so the flight was a bit bumpy. We’ve stayed in the one called VICO in the garden. They are rooms that have all the services.

We’ve come as volunteers to the PUEAA program (Program for the efficient use and saving of water). Their purpose is to contribute to the sustainability of water.

We’ve taken some users on a tour of the aqueduct structures, we’ve distributed messages on the back of bills, we’ve held workshops with the school community, we’ve installed water meters, and we’ve implemented strategic planning for the proper use of the water.

In the next few days we are going to implement dates to do maintenance on the aqueduct structures, we are going to promote low water consumption technologies and we are going to teach them to plant native trees with a small distance from the water so as not to contaminate.
